Head of Marketing Initiatives and Processes (m/f/d)

The CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) Community has responsibility for innovation management, supply chain management, and the commercial activities of our business units. This includes the Central Marketing function. 
Our new “Head of Marketing Initiatives and Processes (m/f/d)” will establish and lead the team and is responsible for global COVESTRO Marketing Projects (e.g. COVESTRO Customer Segmentation) and all Marketing strategy processes. The responsibility will include Marketing Excellence initiatives to ensure the continuous development of the marketing and our marketers within COVESTRO.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In your new position you are the process owner of all marketing-led processes and initiatives and oversee the definition of standards, KPIs and continuous process improvements.
  • You will work closely and collaboratively across all customer facing functions in all Business units (BU) to ensure transfer of marketing strategy process and project decisions into BU operationalization.
  • You are responsible for the continuous improvement of the Marketing 2.0 operating model and inter-department processes.
  • Further, you will be responsible for communication and standard marketing requests of other corporate functions.
  • You will coordinate team resources and prioritize activities while responsible for budget and team member’s development.
  • You will be seen as a driver (m/f/d), a challenger (m/f/d), taking ownership to lead, motivate and inspire your team and your peers

WHO YOU ARE
  • You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science or Engineering
  • You are an experienced Leader (m/f/d) with a proven track record in the fields of Marketing or Sales
  • You have strong leadership capabilities as well as solid management skills working with international and interdisciplinary teams and being an excellent net-worker
  • In addition, you have a well-developed business sense and a strong customer focus and understanding
  • You show Strategic thinking and have strong strategy development skills
  • You have strong analytic skills as well as excellent communication and social competencies skills
  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken, round up your profile
